- Maps – Can only use maps while connected to WiFi
- Clock – Use the clock app for the stopwatch and timer
- Calendar – Use the plus sign to add appointments
- Contacts – Add contacts if you wish to use Messages and FaceTime

- Reminders – Like a to do list
- Newsstand – Used to purchase magazines (When you visit the store, everything will appear free. However, you have to pay for the edition that you have chosen when you download it. Beware that some subscriptions auto-renew unless you specify otherwise.)
